The preliminary master plan for the development project of the Alam El-Roum area provides for the creation of tourist resorts international, luxury residences, shopping and leisure centers, as well as a yacht marina and service infrastructures modern, like the Ras El-Hekma project.

During the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister affirmed Qatar's willingness to strengthen bilateral relationships in various areas, to support and activate Qatari investments in Egypt in several sectors, and expressed his country's full support for the efforts of Egypt at all levels. He also welcomed the constant coordination between the two countries on the Palestinian question, expressing their wish to continue this coordination on other issues for the benefit of both countries and of the region, in the interests of their peoples.

For his part, Dr. Madbouli praised the important role played by Qatar at the regional and international levels, insisting on the solidity of ties that unite the two countries and on the desire to strengthen them, in particular in the economic, commercial and investment fields.

The meeting focused on several issues of interest. common, and in particular the developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts aimed at implementing the Sharm el-Sheikh peace agreement relating to ceasefire.

He added that the discussions also discussed the importance of continuing to implement the recommendations made of the sixth session of the Egyptian-Qatari Joint Supreme Committee, held in August last in the new city of Alamein, in order to strengthen relationships between the two countries and to ensure the effective implementation of the memoranda of understanding signed on that occasion, in the interests of both parties.
