At the end of a review mission carried out in Last October in Abidjan, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced the disbursement of 471 billion CFA francs (about 843 million dollars) in favor of Côte d'Ivoire.

IMF welcomes good performances macroeconomic situation in Côte d'Ivoire despite an international context difficult. The announced funding is broken down into $509 million at under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and $334 million to title of the Resilience and Sustainability Mechanism (MRD), bringing the total accumulated disbursements of over $1.4 billion since approval of the program in 2023.

According to the IMF, the mission has saw robust growth, supported by investments public authorities, agricultural exports and the structural reforms initiated by the government. The IMF also welcomes the resilience of the Ivorian economy in the face of external shocks and encourages the authorities to continue their efforts to increase domestic revenue mobilization.
