On the occasion of the eighth edition of the National Cocoa and Chocolate Days (JNCC), on Friday, September 30, 2022, the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Dice Rural development, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, called for improving local cocoa processing in Côte d'Ivoire.

Actors at various levels in the cocoa industry were united around the theme “Local cocoa processing: opportunities for chocolate artisans”. Interrupted for a year due to COVID-19, the celebration of the 8th edition of the JNCC was an opportunity for the Minister of Agriculture to take stock of the sector.

Minister Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani called for the “entrepreneurial and innovative spirit” of youth, with a view to taking their place in the “dynamic of transformation through Valorization of all products that can be derived from cocoa beans.” He committed them to become “national champions of cocoa and chocolate.”
