It's official, the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (Crepmf) is now
called the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-Umoa).
The information was given yesterday, Thursday, in Dakar by its president Mamadou Ndiaye, on the occasion of the
launch of work to review the basic texts of the regional financial market of the Monetary Union
West African, held for this purpose. "I would like to inform you of the change of name of the
Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (Crepmf) in Autorité des marchés
financial of the West African Monetary Union (Umoa). I would like to point out that this decision was adopted and
approved by the Conference of Heads of State and Government," he said.
