- The budget deficit of the Guinean State for 2020 is estimated at more than
5,000 billion Guinean francs (GNF), or more than 524 million dollars, representing 3.49% of GDP, a
announced Tuesday the President of the National Assembly, Claude Kory Kondiano, at the end of the examination of the law
finance 2020.
To cover this deficit, Parliament authorized the government to procure additional resources
in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions in force.
Mr. Kory Kondiano recalled that the 2020 budget just adopted was stopped in revenue at 21.706 billion
of GNF (more than 2.2 billion dollars) and in expenditures to 26.730 billion GNF (more than 2.8 billion b dollars).
He said that internal own revenues had recorded a very favourable evolution since 2014,
from 9.363 billion GNF (more than 982 million dollars) in 2014 to 20.296 billion (more than 2.1
billions of dollars) for the initial 2020 finance law.
