The development of roads and transport in Africa will be the subject of the inaugural conference of "The Africa Road Builders" 2020 with the Babacar N'Diaye Trophy, former President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) on March 25 in Dakar, Senegal.

Press release sent Sunday to APA, this inaugural conference precedes the final conference that takes place each year on the occasion of the Annual Meetings of the AfDB which will take place this year next May in Abidjan.

With this fifth edition, says Barthélémy Kouamé, the Commissioner General of "The Africa Road Builders" in the press release, these meetings are established as an "unmissable event" for the development of road and transport in Africa.

This meeting, which is organized on the theme "Roads and transport to improve the quality of life of people in Africa", explained Mr. Kouamé, will be a "day of sharing, reflections, actions and experiences".

"We invite professionals and other actors, the media and all observers working in Africa to join us. Because road and transport precede development," the Commissioner-General concluded.
