A meeting was held last Thursday between Woodside officials, the operator of the Sangomar oil field, and those of the African Refining Society (SAR), which is responsible for importing and refining crude oil in the country. It was an opportunity to define a line of collaboration in preparation for the upcoming delivery of crude oil from Sangomar to the Mbao refinery

The strategic partnership between SAR and Woodside marks a crucial step in the development of Senegal's oil and gas industry on which the State is counting on to strengthen energy self-sufficiency and reduce its dependence on imports of petroleum products.
