The indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) experienced a contrasting situation at the end of its trading session on April 1, 2022.

The BRVM market recorded less than 460 million transactions on April 1, 2022 against 2.960 billion FCFA the day before. As far as indices are concerned, we note a contrasting situation. The BRVM Composite index thus recorded a decline of 0.24% to 218.81 points against 219.34 points the day before. On the other hand, the BRVM 10 index gained 0.18% to 167.54 points against 167.241 points previously.

As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it fell by 16.054 billion, to 6586.647 billion FCFA against 6602.701 billion FCFA on Thursday 31 March. The same downward trend characterizes the capitalization of the bond market which fell from 7642.150 billion FCFA the day before to 7635.118 billion FCFA the day before (-7.032 billion).
