Senegal has conducted an auction of titles for a amount of 99 billion CFA francs (or 175 million dollars) at a rate average of 6.88%, the government announced on Friday.

“The auction covered a target amount of $90 billion. FCFA and aroused strong interest from investors with a total of subscriptions of 100 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of 111%, and a final amount withheld of 99 billion CFA francs,” it is specified. This dynamic, supports the Ministry of Finances, confirms the renewed confidence of the market in the signing of the Senegal.

With this new operation, Senegal is continuing the effort implementing its 2025 financing plan, is implementing its strategy for the management of public finances and consolidates market confidence in its ability to finance under sustainable conditions.
