Niger cashed on Thursday, April 21, 2022 the sum of 38.500 billion FCFA on the WAEMU financial market. The fundraising followed a 10-year Treasury stimulus bond (DSB) issue.

At the end of the auction operation, cfaF 71.058 billion in global investor bids was identified. The amount put out to auction by the issuer was CFAF 35 billion. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put out to tender of 203.08%. The amount retained by the issuer amounts to 38.500 billion CFA francs and the rejected amount to 32.578 billion CFA francs. This gives an absorption rate of 54.17%. Investors whose bids are selected will end up with a weighted average return of 6.17%.
