The Cameroonian branch of Bange Bank was officially admitted to the intervention compartment of the BEAC on the money market through a decision published on Friday November 21, 2025 by the Governor of la BEAC .

Bange Bank becomes eligible for the operations of refinancing of the Central Bank, ensuring direct access to the liquidity required to manage its cash flow. Decision No. 144/GR/2025 ends an assessment process that ensured that the institution banking fulfilled the prudential, technical and legal conditions in vigor. It authorizes Bange Bank Cameroon to participate in the operations of refinancing la BEAC . According to some experts, the entry of Bange Bank Cameroun into the compartment interventions by la BEAC is “a positive element for the subregion”. In so far as it contributes to the deepening of the CEMAC money market by increasing the number of rewards.
