During the week ending November 21st 2025, the Ghanaian bond market recorded explosive growth, with a total volume of transactions reaching 4.05 billion GHS, i.e. increase of 99.20% compared to GHS 2.03 billion for the week previous.

Treasuries dominated market activity, capturing GHS 2.77 billion through multiple transactions and representing 68.52% of the total volume. This performance marks an increase of 115.51% compared to GHS 1.29 billion the previous week, testifying to the sustained appetite of investors for government securities in short term.

Buy-back and sale transactions (SBB) involving on Ghanaian government bonds and securities (GOG) saw the most strong growth, jumping by 200,54% to reach GHS 1.23 billion, compared to GHS 410.88 million the previous week. These pension transactions allow institutional investors to manage their liquidity while maintaining exposure to long-term public debt.

Ghana Government Bonds (GOG) due former registered a minimum activity, at 656,055 GHS, down from 73.25% compared to GHS 2.45 million the previous week. Les good from the Bank of Ghana (BOG) remained absent from the markets for the second week in a row, which shows the preference persistent investors for treasury bills and transactions of boarding house.
