Le conseil d' administration de Primera Gold S.A announced during a press conference that two tons of artisanal gold have been exported in six months by this company. This is a first for the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Primera Gold S.A, Vagheni Pay Pay, announced that “after 6 months of activities, Primera Gold DRC S.A has officially exported 2 tons of artisanal gold, a record equivalent to 80 years of exports from the province of South Kivu starting from the average of 25 kilograms exported per year and at 20 years of d& exports rsquo; artisanal gold from all over the DRC on an average of 100 kilograms per year. As a reminder, in 2021, only 23 kilograms were declared officially exported and 34 kilograms in 2022.” According to the president general of the said company, this production breaks the record for artisanal gold in the DRC, thus justifying this feat by the fact that his company has brought fraudulent exports back into the
