A workshop was organized on November 12, 2025 at Abidjan by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). A On the occasion, the Director General of Employment, Franck Dogoh indicated that the Ministry Ivorian Department of Employment and Social Protection has declared itself ready to support any initiative based on the principles of equality and non-discrimination in favour of migrant workers.

A workshop organized by IOM focused on design, negotiation and implementation of mobility partnerships skills, a key issue in the modern management of migrations of work. According to Franck Dogoh, Director General of Employment, the migration of Work remains “a major economic phenomenon”. For him, the policies Ivorian national governments aim to promote decent employment for all, without distinction of origin, as part of a national strategy that constitutes a a genuine instrument for sub-regional management and cooperation.

Franck Dogoh estimated that “the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection is ready to support any initiative based on equality and non-discrimination against workers migrants”.

For David Preux, IOM Chief of Mission in Côte d'Ivoire From Ivory Coast, this workshop aims to facilitate an exchange of experiences between Côte d'Ivoire Ivory Coast and Senegal on the benefits, limitations and potential impact of the migration of skilled labour. According to him, “the participants will strengthen their capacity to design, negotiate and implement partnerships for the mobility of skills, especially in sectors key economic factors.”
