FirstBank DRC and Visa have signed a partnership aimed at modernizing the bank's digital payment ecosystem by Democratic Republic of Congo.

FirstBank RDC is the subsidiary of the Nigerian group First Bank of Nigeria (FBN Holdings ), while Visa is the global leader in digital payments. For a period of 3 years, the agreement provides for the integration of Visa's technological solutions in order to to enrich digital services and the functionalities of virtual cards offered to customers. In this context, FirstBank will launch a new range of cards: Visa Infinix Card (premium) for VIP, Corporate customers Card for businesses, and Prepaid Card dedicated to small transactions and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These innovations will be accompanied by tools for more flexible tracking.

Gisele Lutundula, Deputy CEO of FirstBank indicated that this initiative aims to diversify the product offering. to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving Congolese market. Les payment solutions will be adapted to local realities, especially in underserved areas, in order to guarantee secure transactions, in especially for SMEs.
