The ACCA Mauritius Office (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ) recently held the new New Member Ceremony 2025, sponsored by KPMG Mauritius. It was the occasion of the certification of 175 new accountants as members of the ACCA between January and August 2025.

ACCA is a global professional organization present in 180 countries. Being a member of this association requires success. all the exams of the three ACCA levels of study, to have demonstrated their professional skills over a minimum period of three years, and to have validated compliance with ACCA ethical standards.

ACCA accountants are then authorized to carry out activities — auditing and signing accounts for example — and are better equipped to operate in advisory and management roles of high level.

ACCA this year a major overhaul of this qualification — in order to integrate the training even better, the development of management expertise and skills, and the exercise professional at all levels for implementation in 2027. A program transition period for people starting their studies now also has been defined.

This qualification ACCA professional, recognized in more than 180 countries, is equivalent to a British Masters, but has the added benefit of being directly anchored in the practice of the profession. Persons who have obtained the full qualification ACCA (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3) at the end of their studies can then become a chartered accountant certified by ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountant), also called Member of ACCA.
