NSIA Banque CI has signed a financing agreement for an amount of 5 billion CFA francs (7.5 million euros) with the French Development Agency (AFD) as part of the "Choose Africa" initiative in Ivory Coast. This program, initiated by the French State and implemented by the AFD subsidiary dedicated to the private sector – Proparco, aims to support the development of start-ups, VSEs (Very Small Enterprises) and SMEs. (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Africa.

By signing this project, NSIA Banque CI is taking part in the deployment of the "Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Energy Finance (SUNREF)" program piloted by AFD, which should promote the emergence of eco-responsible entrepreneurial projects in Côte d'Ivoire. This partnership, concluded on the sidelines of the official visit of French President HE Emmanuel Macron to Côte d'Ivoire, also provides for technical support provided by AFD in order to build and nurture the expertise of NSIA Banque CI in the implementation of efficient strategies in terms of energy and natural resources.
