Around 08:00, the futures contract on the
DAX 40 rose by 0.3% and the one on the FTSE 100 rose 0.2%.
European indexes reached
new highs last week and held up relatively well to the
Wall Street correction. However, they could be won in turn
by fears related to the repercussions of artificial intelligence (AI)
across different sectors.
In Asia, the Nikkei Index of the Stock Exchange of
Tokyo lost 0.2% at the end of trading on Monday.
The Japanese economy narrowly returned to growth last year

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's pursuit of more public spending
aggressive.
While Iran and the United States
are due to resume their discussions on the Iranian nuclear program on Tuesday,
oil prices are moving at the margin.
The March light crude contract
Soft (WTI) listed on Nymex, for its part, remained stable at 62.91 dollars per barrel. Vers
7:55am, the April North Sea Brent contract listed in London was
stable at $67.75 per barrel.
ANZ analysts say that some members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) believe that the group has the possibility of resuming increases in the offer in April, according to press reports.
A meeting of OPEC members is
scheduled for March 1 to discuss their agreement on the offer, noted the
analysts.
