The Minister of Fisheries and The Maritime Economy of Senegal, Dr. Fatou Diouf announced on Monday that Senegal now accedes to the first vice-presidency of the Office of Ministers of the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (OMAOC). The country had served as Second Vice President.

in Banjul, on 19 â General Assembly of the Maritime Organization of West Africa and North Africa Center (OMAOC) marked an important step for maritime cooperation regional. The Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy Fatou Diouf Indicates: “I am delighted “to see Senegal now reach the first vice-presidency of the Office of Ministers of the OMAOC, after having ensured the function of second vice-president. This additional responsibility reflects the confidence of our partner states and reinforces the commitment of Senegal for a more integrated and more integrated African maritime governance ambitious”.

She congratulated the Democratic Republic of Congo who, after two years in office, took over the presidency of the Office of Ministers to the Gambia, hitherto first vice-president, in a spirit of continuity and of regional solidarity.
