U.S. gold futures for April delivery fell 0.6% to
$4,496.30.
Gold
has lost more than 15% since the beginning of the month, recording its biggest
monthly drop since October 2008, amid a strengthening U.S. dollar .
Spot silver fell 1.3% to $68.67 an ounce. Spot
platinum rose 0.3% to $1,868.11 and palladium gained 1% to $1,391.
