Oragroup, the banking group based in Lomé, has recently been introduced to the stock market index of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM): the BRVM 10 index. The information comes from a sub-regional financial centre rating which, at the end of its now ritual quarterly review of stock market indices, has changed the composition of its index showing the performance of the 10 most active stocks on the market.

It is as a result of this that in the first quarter of 2020, Oragroup TG, joins the figurehead of the BRVM, at the same time as Total SN, CIE CI. Conversely, Bolloré Transport Logistique CI, Cfao Motors CI and Uniwax left the index. In the end, this brings to two, the number of operators based in Togo and registered among the most active on the market, with Ecobank transnational incorporated (ETI), traditionally present in this index.

As a reminder, the two indices of the financial center based in Abidjan, and which gives the pulse of the activity of the securities of the equity market, are: the BRVM Composite, which includes all the values admitted to the coast; and the BRVM 10, taking into account the 10 most active companies on the market. The latter index is revised four times a year.
