The report of the Nigerian Regulatory Commission of Upstream Oil (NUPRC) announces that the Nigeria's crude oil production fell to 1.39 million barrels per day in September, compared to 1.43 million barrels per day (mbpd) recorded in August 2025.

The statistics published on Saturday indicate that the total crude oil and condensate production for the month of September 2025 fell to an average of 1.581 million barrels per day, with a total condensate of 191,373 mbpd.

In a statement signed by Eniola Akinkuotu, responsible for media and strategic communication, the NUPRC awarded This evolution to the three-day industrial action led by the Association senior oil and natural gas executives from Nigeria (PENGASSAN), who caused the closure of some production facilities and of export.

The Commission also noted that two installations strategic had been subject to scheduled maintenance which resulted a reduction in overall production.
