The African Development Bank (AfDB) supports the airport infrastructure modernization program Moroccan women. This program is implemented within the framework of co-organization of the 2030 World Cup in the company of Spain and Portugal. For supporting this dynamic, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is embarking on a vast recruitment of pilots to support the arrival of its new fleet.

The investment program for the period 2025-2030, is estimated at nearly 38 billion dirhams. It will be devoted to modernization and extension of the kingdom's main airports. In the Detail, 25 billion dirhams will be allocated to increase capacity reception area, while 13 billion will be intended for maintenance, modernization of infrastructures and the acquisition of land. Between 2026 and 2028, nearly 22 billion dirhams will be used for the construction of new terminals in Casablanca Mohammed V and Tangier Ibn Battouta, as well as at redevelopment and extension of the airports of Marrakech Ménara, Agadir Al Massira and Fes-Saïss. This program is part of a global approach aimed at prepare Morocco to welcome a growing air flow during the 2030 World Cup, while consolidating its position as a regional hub.

For this fact, the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) also intends to receive a hundred new planes by 2037 for support the initiative. In this perspective, it plans to launch a vast recruitment campaign for experienced pilots: nearly a hundred pilots each year, to reach a workforce of more than a thousand pilots at by 2037. In addition to recruiting drivers, RAM is also considering to relaunch and modernise its pilot training academy, immersed in a lethargy since 2011.
