This week, the president of the United Bank Group for Africa (UBA) and founder of Tony Elumelu Foundation , Tony O. Elumelu CFR, undertakes a high-impact work tour in East, Central and Southern Africa.

The visit of the president of the UBA Group is scheduled in several countries. It highlights UBA's unwavering commitment to strengthening the economic resilience, to empower entrepreneurs and to open investment opportunities to support the sustainable development of mainland. The tour will cover key countries including Kenya, the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Uganda, Zambia, Zambia, Zambia, Mozambique, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The agenda of Elumelu, a staunch defender of Africapitalism and transformative private sector leadership, will include high-level meetings with the presidents of these countries, decision-makers audiences, business leaders and young innovators, in order to discuss collaborative strategies for funding infrastructures, digital inclusion and entrepreneurship driven by young people. These discussions aim to take advantage of the demographic dividend of Africa, where more than 60% of the population is under the age of 35, and to position the continent as a global driver of innovation and prosperity.

This strategic approach comes at a crucial moment, when Africa's GDP is expected to reach 2.6 trillion dollars by 2030, driven by sectors such as telecommunications, educational technology, and consumer goods. By strengthening its ties with global partners, UBA aims to facilitate 50 billion dollars in trade flows and investments over the five next years.
