NSIA Bank CI took part in the inauguration official solar power plant at the Jules Verne International School. He is a flagship project in the dynamic of promoting energies renewables in Côte d'Ivoire.

The solar power plant at École Internationale Jules Verne was designed by Agency Development French (AFD) and supported by the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI) and entirely engaged by NSIA Banque CI. This installation, spread over 3,700 m², is composed of 560 solar panels. It will acquire a photovoltaic power plant guaranteeing total electrical autonomy. The solar power plant allows to supply the entire campus: classrooms, administrative offices, gymnasium, swimming pool and educational facilities while reducing significantly significantly the school's energy footprint and by strengthening its resilience. This device is also a real educational support, offering more than 1,500 students the opportunity to become familiar with concrete with climate, technological and energy challenges of today and tomorrow.

According to Vanessa KONAN, Deputy CEO of at the Jules Verne International School, this project fully illustrates the vision educational institution.

“Today, everything, absolutely everything, works with green energy. Over the past month, more than 1500 young students than us Let's go to school, more than 200 staff we work with work in a environment powered by green energy, reliable and respectful of our planet... By investing in this infrastructure, we are doing much more than produce electricity: we train enlightened citizens, aware and responsible,” she said.
