The sixth edition of the Resilience Forum in ^{Africa started on Wednesday October 1, 2025 “Bookman Old Style”, serif; mso-bidi-font-family:arial">in Abidjan, in Côte Ivory . intends to intensify the efforts of prevention and stimulate investments that promote peace across the board of the continent.}

“Bookman Old Style”, serif"> “Preventing to better act: financing peace in a context of development cooperation in transition” is the theme of this edition du Forum for Resilience in Africa. Arial"> the senior vice president of Bank African Development mso-bidi-font-family:arial"> (BAD ), Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, on behalf of the president, presented the BAD , Sidi Ould Tah, four fundamental pillars aimed at transforming the way the continent finances peace and crisis prevention.

According to the pan-African institution, it will be about unlocking the potential of African capital by optimizing every dollar invested, to rebuild the financial sovereignty of Africa, of transform demographic dynamics into dividends and finally to build resilient infrastructures while creating real added value.

This forum brought together policy makers, government representatives, leaders of private sector, civil society and academia to explore solutions to the most pressing resilience challenges on the continent.
