The president of the Africa Innova Foundation, Coulibaly Pierre Djibril, announced on September 12, 2025 that the 8th edition of the Salon of inventions and innovation (Abidjan Innova 2026) will be held from 23 to 25 April 2026 at the Palais de la Culture. The launch press conference was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-ci) in Abidjan-Plateau.

The 2026 edition of Abidjan Innova 2026 will have innovations including the transition from five to seven exhibition halls. A space is designed for the care of young people who want to be introduced to the activity inventive. A Super Grand Prix will see the super winners of the seven competing first editions. According to Coulibaly Pierre Djibril, the idea behind this other Competition is to see at what level of the process the different award-winning inventions.

The Young Cultural Prize is also announced for reward local creators who have created artistic concepts that have achieved international success in areas in which they did not in particular, no initial training.
