Christine Logbo-Kossi, Directrice générale du Groupement professionnel des miniers de Côte d' Ivoire a annoncé la tenue de la 25th edition of the CI Mine Symposium from 30 to 31 March 2023 on the theme “What local content policy for a sustainable and efficient mining sector?” ”.

The Ivorian mining sector has 200 research permits in force according to the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy. Given its subsoil rich in natural resources and the regulatory framework put in place since 2014, the mining industry in Côte d'Ivoire has proven potential. The mining sector will contribute 6% of GDP by 2025, create 25,000 direct jobs, and invest more than 20 billion US dollars and 5 billion US dollars in terms of community impact.

In reality, the Mine Côte d'Ivoire symposium is a space for promoting and promoting the mining sector and its actors. All professionals and decision makers for rich and unique exchanges on mines and their related sectors will be present on the occasion.
