At the end of the first half of 2019, Financial systems
decentralized (SFD) of Senegal have allocated to their customers an outstanding credit of 454.322 billion FCFA
(approximately $772.348 million), based on data from the Regulatory and FSDS.

Compared to the second quarter of 2018, this outstanding amount also saw a strong increase of 51,596
billion CFA francs. As for the deposits recorded by the FSDS, they amount to 356.390 billion b FCFA against 344.915 billion FCFA in the first quarter of 2019, an increase of 11.475 billion CFA francs FCFA.
A more sustained increase of 33.606 billion CFA francs is noted in these resources collected
compared to the second quarter of 2018 when they amounted to 322.784 billion FCFA.
The outstanding debt ratio improved by 1.01 percentage points, from 5.31% in the
second quarter 2018 at 4.30% a year later.
