Minsk, April 02, 2019. Messrs. Christian ADOVELANDE, President of the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and Andrei Zhishkevich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Belarus (BDB), signed the first loan agreement for an amount of 50 million euros, or 32.798 billion FCFA in favor of BOAD.

Intended for the refinancing of projects whose goods and services will be of Belarusian origin, this line will contribute to the strengthening of trade between the WAEMU zone and Belarus, and offers companies from the two regions facilities for eligible projects. " This signing ceremony, which is the first of its kind between our two Institutions, carries with it the hope of a fruitful and long cooperation " indicated Mr. Christian ADOVELANDE.
