The National Hydrocarbon Company (SNH) and BGFI Bank Cameroun sealed their partnership on November 4, 2025 in Yaoundé, by the signing of a framework agreement and a financial arrangement mandate.

The agreement between SNH and BGFI Bank Cameroon entrusts to The bank: the mobilization of 118.2 billion FCFA (210 million dollars) US), representing SNH's share of equity in this project strategic. BGFI Bank Cameroon has a dual role as arranger, it will structure the financing scheme and mobilize resources required by local and regional institutions.

As an agent bank, she will manage administrative and financial support of the funds throughout the implementation of project. The Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Abakal Mahamat, has committed to mobilizing the funds within 90 days, guaranteed by a set of securities. This amount of 210 million dollars corresponds to 30% of equity financing, the balance of 70% being provided in the form of debt international by the Emirati partner Ariana Energy.
