The directorate-general of the Hévéa-Palm Oil Council, the regulatory body, has published a statement saying that this suspension concerns crude and refined palm oil. For her, this is “as a conservatory and aims to guarantee supply to the local market.” In addition, the regulatory body invites companies involved in exports to “contact its services without delay for the administrative formalities of use” in order to obtain approval to export the product concerned.

The executive management of the Hévéa-Palm Oil Council insists on the delay and warns violators. “After the deadline of Monday, December 12, 2022, all violators will be subject to the rigor of the law in force in the” oil palm sector.
