According to the report of in the third quarter of 2025, the Sonatel group recorded a good commercial dynamic with a growth in customer bases except on mobile following the tightening identification measures.

Sales grew by 8.6% at 1 433 billion FCFA against 1 319 billion FCFA as of September 30, 2024.

Regarding EBITDA, it increased by 11.5% to 687 billion FCFA against 616 billion FCFA as of September 30, 2024. According to Sonatel Group management, “higher EBITDA growth (+11.5%) to that of turnover (+8.6%) thanks to the good performance of revenues (data, orange money and fixed broadband) and efforts to control expenses.

The investments made by the Sonatel group are stand at 203.1 billion FCFA against 198.1 billion FCFA in the third quarter 2024, an increase of 2.6%. According to Sonatel management, these investments have been, focused on mobile, transmission, Backhaulling and fixed broadband.

With regard to operational results, the management of Sonatel Group reports that mobile customers number 39.4 million (-4.4%), mobile data at 21.9 million customers (+6.4%), 4G assets at 20.7 million (+21%), active Orange Money customers at 12.4 million (+3%), fixed Broadband customers at 1.1 million (+25%) and Fibre customers at 565,600 (+36.2%).
