Total Senegal’s revenues grew by 17.2% in H1 2019

Over the first six months this year, the local subsidiary of French Total in Senegal saw its revenues increase
by 17.2%, driven by an 18.7% increase in overall sales.
Revenues generated from export sales and sales to rival companies increased by 92% motivated by the
acquisition of new export contracts and the sale of certain activities. Profit on ordinary activities before
taxation grew by 12.5% year-on-year to 6,085 million CFA Francs.
However, sales of lubricants, one of the company's flagship products, fell by 2.3% to 5,295 tons during the
period; but the BRVM-listed company did not comment on this result.
