A workshop to support the establishment of a framework strategic and operational in the Democratic Republic of Congo was, Tuesday 04 November 2025. On the occasion, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Planning, indicated that public-private partnership is a structuring instrument of national transformation.

The workshop held in Kinshasa scores according to Daniel Epembe, secretary general at the Ministry of Planning, representing the minister, a turning point decisive and that of the transition from a planning logic to a logic of action, where public-private partnerships become a structuring instrument for national transformation. For him, “this initiative is part of the continuity of major reforms initiated by the Government of Democratic Republic of Congo to create a business environment attractive and competitive able to channel private investments into sectors with a high social and economic impact.”

François Ngenyi, Director General of the Unit of advice and coordination of public-private partnerships (UC-UPPP) for its part reported that this mission was funded with support from African Development Bank , through the project to support the revival of the Congolese economy (PAREC), is the missing piece to complete the public-private partnership framework in the DRC.

A workshop to support the establishment of a framework strategic and operational public-private partnerships in the Republic Democratic Congo was organized in Kinshasa as part of the mission technical assistance awarded to the international firm “CPCS”, with support of the African Bank of development (BAD) through the Advisory Unit and the coordination of public-private partnerships (UC-PPP).

The main purpose of this workshop is to inform all stakeholders about the global content technical support in order to obtain ownership and involvement strong in future activities.
