Indeed, the founder of Performances Group who intervened on the theme "Challenges of the exploitation of data
in the insurance sector", on the occasion of the 44th General Assembly of the Federation of Companies
of Insurance under African National Law (Fanaf), finds that insurance is a data profession as well
for risk assessment than for benefit management.
For him, "the digital shift should thus lead to a complete upheaval of its value chain and
its trades".
Also, he adds, a multitude of information will now make it possible to know in detail the behavior
of the customer, his insurance needs, or the risk factors related to his environment.
It indicates in the same wake that this mass of information and the automation of business processes
will allow him (the customer) to offer a personalized, tailor-made service, of better quality and at a cost
lower.
However, Mr. Ndiaye stresses that this is "a shift that will have to be perfectly mastered, the transformation
digital technology opening the door to risks that are unprecedented for insurers." Because, he explains, as in everything
the slowest patterns of evolution, regardless of their size, will disappear.
Victor Ndiaye "therefore insists on the urgency of the digitization of processes, urging insurers to do
proof of more agility in planning, innovation and especially in the development of partnerships,
especially in the face of increasingly complex regulations."
