Following a training session, 27 executives from banking and financial sector from eight countries of the Economic Union and West African Monetary Fund (UEMOA) received their” Certificate on Friday in Dakar executive strategic banking management — level 2 (CEMSTRAT 2)”.

The training aims to strengthen the abilities of banking and financial managers. The certification ceremony of CEMSTRAT 2, closing the 2025 session, was chaired by the Director General of the West African Center for Banking Training and Studies (COFEB) Mahaman Tahir Hamani. The latter welcomed “the importance of certification”. He believes that it strengthens the capacities of banking sector managers and financial of the West African Economic and Monetary Union.

He also recalled that the content of CEMSTRAT 2 is “regularly updated” according to the evolution of the environment economic and financial aspects of community organization.

The Director of International Strategic Projects to HEC Paris , Armelle Dufour, said she was “very impressed” by the commitment and the determination of recipients.

Five themes were delivered including strategic transformation, finance, strategy digital, leadership and strategic resource development. He This was followed by the defense of individual projects, before the ceremony of delivery of certificates.
