Total Senegal posted the best price increase at 5.26% at the end of the trading session on Thursday, December 1, 2022, on the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM). It operates in the distribution of hydrocarbons.

The value of Total Senegal rose from 2,375 FCFA the previous day to 2,500 FCFA on December 1, 2022, an increase of 125 FCFA. It thus leads the TOP 5 of the highest price increases, ahead of CFAO Motors Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.28% to 945 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.65% to 4,650 FCFA), ONATEL Burkina Faso (plus 2.60% to 3,350 FCFA) and SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.92% to 5,300 FCFA).

With regard to Flop 5 of the largest price drops, it is occupied respectively by the shares Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Électricité Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% to 1,850 FCFA), Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.46% to 6,200 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.11% to 1,110 FCFA), Sucrivoire Ivory Coast (minus 6.70% to 905 FCFA) and Sicable C& Coric; and Ivory (minus 65.4% to 1,000 FCFA).

The total value of the transactions was 388.284 million FCFA compared to 1.497 billion FCFA the day before. The market capitalization of the equity market fell by 30.575 billion FCFA to 5767.264 billion FCFA compared to 5797.839 billion FCFA on November 30, 2022. And the bond market rose by 88 million, from 8710.632 billion FCFA the day before to 8710.720 billion FCFA the day before.

As far as the indices are concerned, the BRVM 10 (index of the 10 leading stocks of the stock market) fell by 0.01% to 158.52 points against 158.54 points the previous day, while the BRVM Composite (general index of the stock market) fell 0.52% to 191.61 points compared to 192.62 points previously.
