The index of the 10 leading stock exchanges (BRVM 10) recorded a strong increase of 1.69% at the end of the trading session of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

The BRVM 10 saw its number of points increase from 162.88 points the day before to 165.64 points on December 22, while the Composite Index (general stock market index) increased by 0.69% to 200.86 points compared with 199.48 points the day before. The stock market capitalization was consolidated by 41.324 billion FCFA. It went from 6,004.390 billion FCFA the day before to 6045.714 billion FCFA on December 22. As for the capitalization of bond markets, it increased by 5.434 billion, to 8919.073 billion FCFA compared with 8913.639 billion FCFA the day before. The total value of transactions rose to 1,685 billion FCFA compared to 864.364 million FCFA on December 21, 2022.

The top 5 largest price declines were occupied respectively by Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.34% to 1,010 FCFA), BOA Senegal (plus 7.34% to 2,400 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.85% to 1,360 FCFA), NEI CEDA Ivory Coast (minus 6.67% to 1,360 FCFA), NEI CEDA Ivory Coast (minus 6.67% to FCFA) at 700 FCFA) and Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.12% at 1,945 FCFA). As for the TOP 5 largest price increases, respectively, Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.48% to 6,180 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.20% to 1,340 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.92% to 695 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.96% to 800 FCFA) and SMB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.68% to 6,980 FCFA).
