On the UEMOA financial market, the General Directorate of Public Accounting and the Treasury of Senegal raised an amount of 17.099 billion FCFA on December 21, 2022, following an issue of stimulus bonds from Treasure lasting 3 years and 5 years.

UMOA-Securities, the organizer of the operation, has drawn up a report according to which total bids of 30.299 billion FCFA have been listed. The total amount put in adjudication was 25 billion FCFA, giving a coverage rate of the amount put in auction by 121.20%. The amount of the tenders rejected at 13.200 billion FCFA, giving an absorption rate of 56.43%, and the one accepted amounts to 17.099 billion FCFA.

Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 5.65% for 5-year bonds and 5.27% for 3-year bonds. Capital will be repaid on the first business day following the due date of December 22, 2027 for 5-year bonds and December 22, 2025 for 3-year bonds.
