The 2023 tax schedule provides for a 4% tax for Transport Cars with Drivers (VTC ). The new tax is mentioned in the 2023 Draft Tax Annex, which was communicated by the Ministry Budget of State and Portfolio.

The public transport of persons and/or goods using VTC has been booming around the world lately. Indeed, with the aim of reducing the distortion in competition between these new activities and traditional transport activities, several countries around the world are introducing specific taxation for VTC .

This tax will apply not only to the transport of persons but to the transport of goods and will be deducted at source by the operator of the platform used for this activity.
