On Friday, January 27, 2023, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor called on mobile operator MTN Group and the Ghana Revenue Authority to find a solution to a delay tax return of 773 million dollars.

MTN said earlier this month that the Ghana Revenue Authority had issued a tax arrears bill against its subsidiary MTN Ghana after auditing it for the years 2014 to 2018.
