After a simultaneous issuance by auction of equivalent treasury bills (BAT) with a duration of 182 and 364 days, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, the public treasury received the sum of 60.750 billion FCFA on the WAEMU financial market. It was to finance the budget of the State of Côte d'Ivoire.

The issuer requested 60 billion FCFA and received global bids of 80.750 billion FCFA, representing a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 134.58%. The rejected bid amount was 20 billion FCFA, giving an absorption rate of 75.23%, while the one accepted is 60.750 billion FCFA. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 3.99% for 364-day bonds and 3.59% for 182-day vouchers.
