The flagship indices of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) ended in green with different trends at the end of the trading session on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

L The BRVM Prestige Index (index grouping all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) increased by 1.62% to 101.57 points compared with 99.95 points previously. While the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.79% to 99.15 points compared with 98.37 points the day before. For its part, the composite index (the general stock market index) gained 0.63% to 202.50 points compared with 201.23 points the day before.

Indeed on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the total value of transactions increased to 1.212 billion FCFA against 962.147 billion FCFA. As for the stock market capitalization, it stood at 7533.496 billion FCFA compared to 7486.091 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 47.405 billion FCFA. While the bond market fell by 4.025 billion FCFA, standing at 9266.601 billion FCFA compared with 9270.626 billion FCFA the day before. The top 5 largest price declines were occupied by NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.15% to 610 FCFA), BOA Mali (minus 1.88% to 1,305 FCFA), BOA Senegal (minus 1.82% to 2,425 FCFA), BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.58% at 5,900 FCFA) and Crown SIEM Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.47% at 670 FCFA). As for the top 5 largest price increases, it is occupied respectively by SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.30% to 955 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.14% to 1,050 FCFA), ETI Togo (plus 5.26% to 20 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.58% to 1,255 FCFA) and Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.23% to 85,000 FCFA) and Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.23% to 85,000 FCFA) and Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.23% to 85,000 FCFA) FCFA).
