On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the BNP PARIBAS Group and Proparco officially invested in the capital of Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l' Industrie de Côte d' Ivoire ( BICICI) through a dossier transaction carried out at the Regional Securities Exchange ( BRVM ). The information is made public through a press release from the BICICI Directorate General.

The management of BICICI believes that the entire stake of the BNP PARIBAS Group (59.79%) and Proparco (7.70%) in the capital of BICICI (59.79% and 7.70% respectively) has been sold to the Ivorian consortium composed of the National Investment Bank (BNI), the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation de Côte d'Ivoire (CDC-CI), the National Social Insurance Fund (CNPS), and the Social Insurance Institution-General Retirement Fund for State Employees (IPS-CGRAE).

Management believes that this transaction, signed and announced on September 30, 2022, represents a total of 11,247,810 BICICI shares, representing 67.49% of the capital and voting rights, for a total price of 80 billion FCFA (dividend for the 2022 financial year attached).
