At the end of the hearing held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the former District Manager (CA) of Abomey-Calavi center, Bernard Hounsou and Désiré Hounmavo (a close friend of Georges Bada) were found guilty of land fraud.

The former Head of District (CA) of Abomey-Calavi center, Bernard Hounsou and Désiré Hounmavo in prison in the 39 hectares case received a new conviction. Indeed, the Court for the Suppression of Economic Offences and Terrorism (CRIET) has convicted Bernard Hounsou and Désiré Hounmavo in a new plot case. The two defendants were sentenced to 07 years in prison with a suspended sentence and a fine of two million CFA francs for land fraud.

Noted that in September 2021, Bernard Hounsou and Désiré Hounmavo were both convicted in the incredible 39-hectare affair in Abomey-Calavi. They had been sentenced to 10 years in prison and had to pay the State a fine of 5 million CFA francs.
