The capitalization of the stock market recorded a fall of 27.39 billion FCFA on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

At the end of the trading session on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, the market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) fell by 27.39 billion FCFA. It stood at 7605.863 billion FCFA against 7633.253 billion FCFA the day before. The capitalization of the bond market fell by 3.498 billion, from 9739.613 billion FCFA the day before to 9736.115 billion FCFA on February 22, 2023.

The total value of transactions fell to 549.309 million FCFA compared to 1.433 billion FCFA previously. Moreover, the improvement noted the previous day in the three key indices did not continue on 22 February 2O23. Thus, the composite index (the general stock market index) fell 0.36% to 204.44 points compared with 205.18 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) fell by 0.45% to 101.13 points compared with 101.59 points the day before. Then the BRVM Prestige index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) fell sharply by 1.19% to 105.50 points compared with 106.77 points the day before.


The top 5 largest price declines were occupied by Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to 1,200 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.76% to FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.76% to 3,000 FCFA), Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.99% 1 300 FCFA) and SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.80% at 7 450 FCFA) .While the TOP 5 of the most Strong price increases were respectively occupied by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.80% to 1,185 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.88% to 5,350 FCFA), BOA Senegal (plus 2.17% to 2,585 FCFA), BOA Benin (plus 1.67% to 6,400 FCFA) and Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.56% to 7,190 FCFA).
