In order to contribute to the economy in the 5 countries present in West Africa, Sonatel expects more than 1,000 billion FCFA.

In its countries of presence, the Sonatel group remains one of the leading contributors to value creation. Thus, the company intends to release 1,000 billion CFA francs for this cause. In 2022, more than 435 billion CFA francs were paid to state budgets in the form of taxes, taxes collected directly, fees, social contributions, customs duties and dividends, representing 30% of consolidated turnover. The Sonatel Group's activities have also made it possible to collect 297 billion CFA francs for states in indirect taxes.

With regard to the development of the local private sector, the group's activities generated more than 298 billion FCFA in revenue for local businesses, or 20% of consolidated turnover. In terms of jobs, the group's activities have consolidated more than 5,000 direct jobs and nearly 200,000 indirect jobs thanks to dynamic partnerships in the technical and commercial fields.
