The stock Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire, which operates in the distribution of hardware products, recorded the largest price increase with more than 7.40% on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the end of the trading session.

Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire recorded an increase of 135 FCFA. The cost of this value increased from 1,825 FCFA the day before to 1,960 FCFA on March 2, 2023. The total value of transactions was 738.558 million FCFA compared to 340.660 million FCFA on March 1, 2023.

A contrasting situation is evident in terms of the indices. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) fell 0.18% to 102.67 points against 102.86 points the day before, the composite index (the general stock market index) fell by 0.10% to 205.88 points compared with 206.09 points the day before. While the BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) increased by 0.26% to 107.50 points compared with 107.22 points the day before.


Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire thus occupied first place in the TOP 5 with the largest price increases, followed respectively by SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.00% to 5,300 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.09% to 2,995 FCFA), UNIWAX Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.79% to 765 FCFA) and BOA Mali (plus 4.65% to 1,350 FCFA). The capitalization of the bond market is down by 515 million, from 9985.742 billion FCFA the day before to 9985.227 billion FCFA on March 2, 2023, while that of the equity market is also down by 7.88 billion, from 7667.063 billion FCFA the day before to 7659,183 billion FCFA on March 2, 2023.


As for the Flop 5 with the largest price declines, it was occupied by BOA Benin (minus 7.47% to 6,130 FCFA), NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.62% to 4,750 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.70% to 5,200 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.41% to 7,355 FCFA) and BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 0.77 at 6 445 FCFA).
