At the end of the trading session on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the three flagship indices of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) again showed contrasting trends.

The BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) recorded the largest increase with 0.52% to 108.04 points compared with 107.48 points previously. The composite index (the general stock market index) fell slightly by 0.20% to 207.37 points compared with 207.79 points the day before. Then the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) rose by 0.19% to 104.21 points compared with 104.01 points the day before.

The market capitalization of the bond market remained stable at 10,152.625 billion FCFA. While the stock market fell by 17.505 million, from 7732.371 billion FCFA on March 13, 2023 to 7714.866 billion FCFA the next day. The value of transactions rose little, from 348.248 million FCFA on March 13, 2023 to 453.846 million FCFA the next day.

The top 5 largest price declines were occupied by Compagnie Ivorienne d'Électricité Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.38% at 2,255 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (minus 2.25% at 5,855 FCFA), BOA Ivory Coast (minus 2.21% to 5,085 FCFA), Orange Côte d& rsquo; Ivory (minus 1.95% at 9,800 FCFA) and BOA Senegal (minus 1.74% at 2,265 FCFA). While the Top 5 of the largest price increases were respectively occupied by Setao Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.36% to 1,170 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.33% to 2,290 FCFA), SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.92% to 5,300 FCFA), NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.13% to 4,950 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.3% to 4,950 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.3% to FCFA). 70% at 5 085 FCFA).
